This is the Fanlistings Network approved fanlisting for the character Major Lorne, played by Kavan Smith on the TV show Stargate Atlantis.


Major Lorne first appeared in the Stargate SG-1 season seven episode 'Enemy Mine' as an air force officer working for Stargate Command. He resurfaced in Stargate Atlantis some time later as one of the new personnel brought in after the events of 'The Siege' in season one. Major Lorne has since become a recurring character. The name for the site is Exceptional and it's meaning and significance is really no big mystery. To find yourself stationed on Atlantis working alongside the best Earth has to offer you must be pretty exceptional in some respect and I think Major Lorne has demonstrated that he is on more than one occassion.
