This is the Fanlistings Network approved fanlisting for the Stargate Atlantis episodes 1.01 Rising, part 1 and 1.02 Rising, part 2.


Rising is the pilot for the TV show, Stargate Atlantis, and sees an international team of scientists and military personnel discover a new Stargate network in the Pegasus Galaxy. They discover the lost city of Atlantis and awaken a new powerful enemy -The Wraith.


The site is called Surface for pretty obvious reasons. When the expedition first arrives the city is submerged under water, when the shields fail it rises spectacularly to the surface. I challenge anyone to watch that scene and not think 'wow' - the city rising up through the ocean, and the water rippling out as Atlantis comes to rest on the surface of the ocean is one of the most phenomenal pieces of television I've ever seen.


The site was a designed in Photoshop 6.0. HTML was hand coded in Notepad. The layout features promotional images from the season one episode '1.01 Rising' taken from New-Atlantis.net. The fanlisting is powered by Enthusiast.
