This fanlisting is the Fanlistings Network approved fanlisting for the characters of the movie Serenity.

Somehow a paragraph or two seems wholly inadequate to describe the wonder that is Serenity and its compelling characters, if you're a fan I'm sure you'll understand.

Based on the brilliant yet short lived cult hit television series Firefly, Serenity continues and expands upon the adventures of the memorable Firefly characters so many of us have come to love. Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds, Zoe Warren, Wash, Inara Serra, Kaylee Frye, Jayne Cobb, Dr. Simon Tam, River Tam and Shepherd Book all return in Serenity, plus the introduction of an array of new and interesting characters; The Operative and Mr. Universe to name but two.

For me, the characters of Serenity are characters you just can't help but fall in love with. Not only are they compelling but they are characters you can really relate to, no Mr or Miss perfect here, just ordinary folk going about their business even if their business is occassionally somewhat less than ordinary - for me that's what makes the characters of Serenity so special.
